Isaiah Stokes, 41, is accused of ambushing Tyrone Jones, 37, in Jamaica on Feb. 7 and shooting him nearly a dozen times, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

A grand jury indicted Stokes, who lives in Jamaica, and charged him with second-degree murder and criminal weapons possession in a three-count indictment on Friday.

The shooting occurred on the afternoon of February 7th. Authorities said Stokes was seen exiting a vehicle near the junction of Linden Boulevard and 200th Street. He approached the driver’s side window of a parked white Jeep Grand Cherokee and fired 11 shots into the vehicle.

Jones, who lived about a mile and a half away, was pronounced dead by emergency personnel. Prosecutors did not elaborate on what they believe led to the murder.

Stokes is due back in court on Monday, and he faces a sentence of 25 years to life in prison if convicted.

According to his IMBD page, Stokes also records and performs music under the name I$AIAH.
